Hi Amanda, Yes it is quite likely that a pws will move in and out of a diagnosis of SSS, as in a similar way a person may move in and out of a diagnosis of Social Anxiety Disorder. SAD and hence SSS may dissappear but then recur in response to a stressful (real or perceived) life event. Thanks for your question, Mark
