Shinji, Thank you very much for such a good paper. I really enjoyed reading it. As Pamela said It would be good if your thoughts were in place when we were at school, many years ago. I have one thought about schools now. In the UK, so much school work at a very early age requires verbal responses from children. It might be difficult for a child to hide a stutter in a classroom. But then, there is the problem of if the teacher, or classroom assistant correctly identifies it as a stutter. Much of your paper is so very positive. but one part, appeared a little out of place. In your three points to tell children, point 2 said There are many people who have not recovered from stuttering. From my point of view, I would suggest point 2 could possibly read "Some of our best communicators include those who stutter". This gives the same message that a stutter may be around for a while, but places no importance on that fact. Thanks once again, I enjoyed meeting you at Cavtat and always welcome your written ideas. Keith
