Keith, thank you for your comments. The second point to tell children that there are many people who have not recovered from stuttering is a very important fact we must not miss. Regarding your suggestion to read it as “Some of our best communicators include those who stutter", in fact it is possible to become good communicators even if we do not recover from stuttering. There are many people who stutter but live with it, while there are many who are distressed by it. This means how we deal with stuttering makes a big difference, and I wanted to say if we face the fact that we stutter we will be able to find ways to live fully even with stuttering.
