Dear Shinji Ito, Thank you for your article. I found it fascinating to read about your experiences with stuttering in Japan and discover similar findings in Brooklyn, NY. Most of the clients I work, especially children, have never met anyone else who stutters. I was wondering if you have any stuttering support groups for children in Japan. This would be a good way to increase their confidence and self-expression. I was also wondering if there are any international support groups for children. With modern technology and the internet this group could unite children who stutter from around the world.
