Mr. Ito, I enjoyed your article on “Support for the Self-Expression of Children Who Stutter.” I agree that a child’s teacher should be involved in the child’s treatment program. After all the child spends as much, if not more time with the teachers than any other adult. I feel it is important for a teacher to help a child increase fluency, eliminate his avoidance behaviors, and improve his overall communication ability. Once again, I have enjoyed your article and will share your article with my colleagues at Northern Michigan University.
