I found this article to be very insightful. It helped me to not only understand what I am learning as an undergrad but to be able to read about a personal experience. I really enjoyed reading about the section labeled, “Failure to Notice Stuttering.” I found it interesting that teachers don’t acknowledge the “quiet” students. I would think that those are the students that they should be looking out for, so that they themselves can try and discover the reason for their quietness. I think that everyone should learn a little more about stuttering and what it is like for people who stutter so that people can become more understanding of the emotional aspects of stuttering.
