The section discussing the teacher's lack of knowledge really caught my eye. Through observing many types of students, I have learned how important it is to understand the severity of the child's struggle early on. Whether it is stuttering or early troubles with hearing, I believe it is essential to pay close attention to whether the child needs some type of therapy and also to decide when that therapy should begin. I also thought the points discussing support and trust in others were quite interesting. I agree with your strong emphasis on parents and teachers helping the child to accept that he/she stutters, when the child's awareness level is there of course. Thank you for sharing your article!
