I am actually writing this question for Dee. She does not stutter but has been listening as I have been reading the conference papers with my speech synthesizer. She is a musician and has no training about stuttering except living with a pws. She is blind so is no stranger to a "disability". Her question is this: If stuttering is a gift why do we do therapy for it?
