Thank you for such a motivating insight into stuttering. I greatly enjoyed it! It would be amazing if every SLP that worked with clients who stuttered had the experience and outlook on stuttering as you do. I am a graduate student taking a fluency disorders class and am assigned to read chapters in your book weekly. I am learning valuable information and tools and receive an even better feeling of what stuttering is all about because you, the author, know exactly what it is like to stutter. You provide amazing insight into the world of stuttering and offer valuable information and tools. I just had one question though. What do you feel is the most important skill a SLP should possess to be successful when working with clients who stutter? Thank you for all of your wonderful stories and information!
