Congratulations on a wonderful article. I appreciated the layout of your information. I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and I am currently enrolled in a course focusing on fluency. We have spent the beginning of the semester trying to “understand” fluency through various definitions and theories of origins. From your experience, how can clinicians best provide therapy for people who stutter given that we do not fully understand the concept of fluency or the origin of the disorder?
