I feel that it was very beneficial for me as an undergraduate SLP student to read your article. I had never read such a detailed description of fluency before. For me, what was most helpful was learning about all of the seven major components of fluency and how they relate to normally fluent speech. I think that having such a clear understanding of normal fluency will be very helpful when evaluating potentially disfluent speech. I also enjoyed learning about exactly how not all disfluencies are stutters. It is very interesting to learn that there are many normal disfluencies in everyday speech.
