Hi Carolyn, thanks for the great comments and questions. I find the groups extremely helpful, actually more so than individual therapy. So much of my healing and recovery has come from the honest examination of my feelings and attitudes about myself as a pws, so it helps to talk about it. I find the group experience to be very empowering. I plan to attend for as long as I can. I have stepped into helping to co-lead a parent support group, and have found that to be very helpful as well, as there are things I wish I had said to my parents way back when. It helps me to help parents, and to allow them the opportunity to interact with an adult who stutters, to kind of offer some reassurance about thier own kids. // As for the newsletter I do, right now we do not post it on a public web site, but we are in the process of doing that with the College of St Rose's webpage. The newsletter is great, as adults who stutter share their stories with each other, and we have just recently added a parents page. I email it now to readers, with a distrubution list of about 75. I would like to see that grow! --Pam
