Hi Pamela, Thank you for sharing your experiences – I’m sure they will inspire others to follow in your footsteps. Isn’t it rewarding when we no longer allow fear to diminish our lives? I have long advocated that persons who stutter could do so much more to increase public awareness about stuttering. You are certainly doing just that. Even many of our friends and family members have little understanding about how it affects us (or other PWS), so perhaps we should not be too surprised when strangers and work colleagues etc do not know how to react when we struggle to say our words. When we overcome hurdles, it opens our eyes to possibilities that we could never have imagined. Long may you continue to tread such challenging and unfamiliar paths. Kindest regards Alan
