This was a very interesting article! This “cure” has captured a lot of media attention recently. As a graduate student, I am fascinated with technological advances which can help clients in our field. I definitely am a believer that combining the SpeechEasy with traditional therapy offers the best outcomes; thank you for conducting research from an objective perspective. Unfortunately, since this device is quite expensive and most providers do not cover the cost, many clients will never have the opportunity to try it. Before reading this article, I had only heard about the SpeechEasy device through the media and class discussions. Now, I would definitely be interested in following up and reading further research, especially with regards to the outcomes of using the device along with traditional therapy.
