I am a graduate student in speech-language pathology and I am currently taking a class on fluency disorders. I was excited to read your article on this device because my class had a discussion about it recently. Do you think the Speech Easy provides false hope to people who stutter and to children who stutter and their parents? How can I as a clinician express that it isn't the cure for stuttering and that if used, therapy should accompany it? It's really an expensive device and therapy isn't without cost either.
