I’m actually looking into other aspects of stuttering at the moment, but further research on the role of auditory feedback in stuttering is always a future possibility. As for your question about a tool that might predict who would be most likely to benefit from the SpeechEasy, please see our comments to Batya and Joe Klein above on that subject. We didn’t find (and were not specifically looking for) any strong prognostic indicators for success with the device, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
