Thanks so much for sharing your story. I did my speech this evening. I did well. It wasn't perfect, but it didn't need to be. Several minutes in, I found myself no longer glancing at my notes, but just telling the story. I missed a beats, but NO ONE KNEW BUT ME, so it was fine. People laughed, and I got through one of my biggest challenges. Telling a humorous story. Some one once told me, the victory is in doing, and I did it.
