Mr. Reitzes, Thank you very much for your article. I think having the client teach the clinician about articulation, etc., is a great idea. It seems to be a great way to keep the child focused and involved. It also seems to me that the child would get a better understanding of how everything "works" when speaking. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to use this technique during therapy. In your "about the presenter" section, it is mentioned that you are an adult stutterer. Do you remember any of your favorite therapy activities if/when you went to speech therapy growing up? If so, do you draw from those experiences and apply them (perhaps rework them a little) to your current clients? Thanks again for your great therapy technique!
