Ann, thanks for writing and great question. This activity (or the concepts in it) can absolutely be used with adults, but when I do so, I am sure to use age appropriate language and an age appropriate approach. For example, instead of playing a game, I simply discuss with adults the importance of identifying how sounds are made because such conscious knowledge will support the use of speaking strategies.
