Kelly, thanks for writing. What I wrote is that “words that begin with vowels are particularly difficult for some people who stutter.” Different people who stutter will have different sound and word fears and will struggle with different sounds, letters and classes of sounds. Some people will struggle with vowels, so I was just pointing out that the clinician should remember to focus on vowels. Thanks again for writing.
