This is a very informative article! I have worked as a speech therapist assistant active and non active for several years. On my last assignment, I worked with a young lady, middle school age, whom experienced severe dysfluent episodes, including blocking, prolongations, hesitations along with secondary behaviors. With the help of one of the master therapist (literally smile, this particular therapist had extensive certification/hours in the area of stuttering) I was trained to employ and train my speech student on easy onset and light articulatory contact. This approach drastically helped! And this training helped me to understand "how to think as a stutter" as well. So I say all of this to say..... Thank you for further enlightening me especially on "how to" for younger kids, I look forward on reading more articles from you!!! Cindy
