I am a first-year graduate student in Communicative Disorders. I really enjoyed the techniques you presented in your article. I think it is a great idea to switch roles and have the child “teach” the SLP how to make sounds and how to get through a stuttering moment. You’ve made me realize how much the child’s awareness is an important factor and different ways you can increase this awareness. I will remember these ideas when I have my first young fluency client!
