Thank you very much for your insight. As a student in a speech language pathology program having my first introduction to stuttering, it is very helpful to hear to your suggestions. We have discussed in class that a person who stutters often only reveals what is the tip of an iceberg as their stuttering and that the true stutter should be revealed for effective resolution. Observation of behaviors that are not congruent with what is being said is, from what I gathered, a good way of revealing more of the iceberg.
