Since stuttering is a speech disorder and not a language disorder, we expect that our general approaches are likely to work across languages. However, some adjustments to treatment techniques may be needed depending on the linguistic features of a language, or the severity of stuttering in each language, or the awareness of stuttering that the pws may have in each language.
