I found this to be a very interesting article as I am a graduate student in speech-language pathology and I happen to be bilingual in English and Hebrew. I was a second language learner, but I consider my second language (English) to be my dominant language, although I am fluent in both. Two questions: If a bilingual child exhibits disfluencies that are not stuttering-like disfluencies- will the child be considered a stutter or a normally developing child with disfluencies because they happen to be bilingual and might just be experiencing sensory overload? Also, you mentioned in the article that the clients transfer the treatment to the untreated language. Do you think this is done subconsciously or intentionally? Thanks for your time
