I am a graduate student at NYU and extremely interested in the bilingual population. I have been having a difficult time finding research in the area of stuttering and bilingualism, and was happy to find your articles here. I find the idea that fluency treatment in one language can transfer to the other language of the individual very interesting. Do either of you normally treat in one language, or was this solely done on the request of the parents? Do you believe more success is seen when the client is treated in both languages?
