I also include classroom teachers and paraprofessionals along with parents on the team I want working together for the benefit of the child. Many times the teachers and paraprofessionals want to help the child but just do not know how. When all of us are using the same terminology and the same support techniques, my students benefit. I have seen wonderful progress when the student is supported throughout the school day, as well as at home.
