As a parent myself, I could not agree more with you on parent involvement. Wouldn't you know that my first client would have a father who's involvement is irregularly bringing his son to therapy. The client does not go to school and has no close friends that I know of. How do I make this thirteen year old boy feel like he isn't in this alone when he walks out of the therapy room? Thank you in advance for your insight.
