Dear Erika, What an interesting perspective on the treatment of fluency disorders! I have heard about music therapy but have not known exactly how it works. Your paper certainly gives a clear picture of the profession. You mentioned that if a fluency disorder is determined to be motoric in nature, that co-treatment with a speech-language pathologist is a likely outcome. Can you describe a session where you have worked collaboratively with a speech-language pathologist? What does such a session look like? Regards, Lisa
