Hi, thanks for the great question. I've worked with SLPs in all of the settings I've worked in except for a mental health clinic and psychiatric clinic where it's of course uncommon to have SLPs working (though, on a totally unrelated note, I'd love to have SLPs on staff in psych facilities, because you all are invaluable in working with folks on social skills and pragmatic skills in a way that psych clinicians can't match). I've done cotreats with SLPs in hospitals, schools, early intervention, and special ed. I'm not sure how to answer how common MT is in a particular area, but if you go to http://cbmt.org/ you can see how many MTs are board certified in your state.
