Hello! I am a Speech-Language Pathology student at the graduate school at West Virginia University. I find your piece to be very interesting. I have heard of clients who are disfluent using a metronome within therapy, but I never would’ve thought of intervening with a Music Therapist. It would be interesting if you could present data to show how affective the therapy is, though. It is a fascinating idea and I fully support it, but I am curious to know about how many clients you have seen who stutter and what exactly the outcomes were.
