After reading this article, I was thrilled to learn about another treatment option for those who stutter. I was previously unaware of the notion of music therapy as a treatment for fluency disorders, and I am truly amazed by the idea. The way the brain works is fascinating and to imagine the simultaneous functions happening while participating in musical activities that end up leading to easier speech is mind-blowing. To be honest, I would have never thought of music as a method of therapy for speech disorders, and I'm very pleased to have been introduced to the topic.
