I really enjoyed this - it applies not only to the stuttering experience, but to life in general. I have been on the journey, and am not really sure of the destination. I have stuttered since age 5, but tried to keep it hidden until just recently. ( I am 40-something now!) Life events conspired to have me confront and embrace my stuttering for the first time, and I have discovered this: that I am a work in progress. I am ok with that. Change takes time, and habits take time to break. Now I try to savor those moments that bring happiness, and enjoy them in the here-and-now, instead of waiting for this or that to happen to finally be happy. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and insights.
