Ms. Silverman, Thank you very much for your wonderful article. How true it is that when "we think we deserve to be happy, we treat ourselves kindly." It can be very easy to forget that everyone deserves happiness. You mentioned in your article that you have chosen to "walk a path to happiness." Is there someone or something in your life that helps you stay on that path from day to day (e.g. a friend, a colleague, or perhaps a saying)? I think sometimes it can be difficult to maintain that sense of "Be happy now," and I am just wondering how you maintain that focus. Again, thank you for your article. It definitely helped me put things into perspective and realize that it is possible, with some work and determination, to have lasting happiness.
