Dear Ellen-Marie Silverman, I'm so glad you wrote this article and titled it "Happily Ever After". I love the point you make about being happy NOW, in the present. I know we all face different challenges in our lives and stuttering is one set of challenges some people face. I was wondering whether many people who stutter seek psychological therapy simultaneously with speech therapy or do you feel that having an understanding SLP who provides counseling can help/will be enough for the clients to gain self-esteem and think well of themselves by separating themselves from their stuttering.
