[[But now that I am here I don’t want to waste my time being stressed out. I have to think positive and know that one day I will graduate, get certified and get the job that I have always wanted. Why stress? Why not live happily ever after? Though I do not stutter, I believe your insight to be helpful to those that do (and don’t for that matter).]] Emily, we experience stress based on what we think and the health of our physical body. You are beginning to take the steps to care for your mind (I would, however, encourage you to think something like, "I benefit from being focused." rather than, "I must think positive," which could generate quite a bit of stress for you.)so that it becomes strong, flexible, and calm. I hope you are also taking care of your body by eating nutritious foods in the right amount and at the right times, sleeping well each night, and exercising daily. So, developing and carrying out a regular practice of mind and body care is what it takes to live well in the moment. Take care! Ellen-Marie Silverman
