Hi Greg, Peter, Joe and Eric, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on creating StutterTalk. One day, I hope to take advantage of the wonderful facilities that you provide. I should explain that, having been heavily involved within the international stuttering community since 2000, I decided (in March 2007) to greatly restrict my online activity. I needed to re-claim my life, as I was spending far too much time at the keyboard. Consequently, I have chosen not to access the Internet from home since that date. I may well have a change of heart later this year and restrict myself to a very limited involvement. If I do, I will certainly contribute to StutterTalk. From a personal point of view, I have never considered stuttering to be a gift. However, I readily acknowledge that it has provided me with attributes that I might, otherwise, not have acquired (in particular, useful writing skills and an extensive vocabulary, swelled by half a century of word substitution) :-) Kindest regards Alan
