Thanks for your interest! Regarding schools where we are working (rural Himalayan foothills)- we are trying to 1). sensitise the teachers, parents and other children 2) help the CWS talk about it by providing a safe accepting atmosphere and sharing our own stories to get them going 3) teaching some basic techniques- correct breathing, eye contact, prolongation and bouncing, easy stuttering etc. 4) help a CWS understand that stuttering is just another diversity among children and does not mean that they are inherently flawed or worthless; in other words more acceptance for themselves..: As to second question: Though I tend to stammer in both languages but less so in English- I guess, because I have to think and then talk, which slows me down and also because substitution in English is less noticeable than in Hindi, my mother tongue..
