Sachin, Your article was very interesting; I found myself nodding with understanding and realization with every sentence. What I found most interesting is how far you had come in your childhood years and the motivation that carried you to find techniques that worked for you and your fluency. You mentioned that in India, the PWS support group is a fairly new item, as well as accepting stuttering/stammering as a real communication disorder instead of a "habit" as you had stated. This is indeed wonderful that the view is changing, yet my question for you is this: If not for the lack of support and knowledge available when you were young, do you think you would still have had the drive and motivation to teach yourself the techniques that helped you so much? Or would you have relied on what was available to you and not self-searched for more? You are a wonderful example of a self-teacher and I applaud you for it. To me, it seems as though your hardships motivated you to move forward and find out the answers to your questions for yourself. This is truly respectable. Your motivation intrigues me and your dedication to the PWS population is amazing. Thank you for sharing your story.
