Sachin, thank you for your eloquent article. I read so much of myself in there, as a covert stammerer I struggled to accept myself but over the past 3 years I have learned that I can't just change my speech and my attitude to my speech, that other aspects of my life also need to change. Do you think there is a greater deep seated fear that if we do change our speech and ourselves that we may not know how to live with our 'new' selves? Veronica
