Thanks for the paper. The statistic that 68% of stutterers have concommitant disorders is new to me; a decade or two ago everyone in the NSA was saying that stuttering is unrelated to any other disorders, I suppose to destigmatize stuttering. For me and I suspect others, stuttering is so obvious and prominent that whenever anyone evaluates me they seem to attribute all my problems to stuttering. I suspect that happens often in others as well, where stuttering camoflauges other issues. I'm a stutterer who recently decided I have mild Asperger syndrome, and I started a yahoogroup for people who are interested in the relationship between both. There aren't many members yet, but please join if you are interested and soon we should have a critical mass: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AspergerStutter
