Kasy, What makes you so sure that they will not grow out of it? If you really think that they will not grow out of it, back-up your talk with facts. The information on recovery that comes from Yairi and Ambrose is pretty strong. Using that as a basis, give them the facts. Make sure that you consider, family history, type of disfluency, weigthed stuttering-like disfluency score, progression of symptoms over time. These aspects have all been studied and can serve as the best guide to predict "growing out of it" or not. Thanks for the question, John Tetnowski
