Marissa, Thanks for the question. Your question fits with a common theme that I have been reading....which one do we treat first? I think the answer is "it depends" on the degree of impairment, motivation, potential for improvement, etc., but in most cases, I think taht treating them together, as they are both part of the whole person, is the best way to go.
