Kayley, The answer to your question is....it depends. I would ceratinly not be confident enough to make the statement that you did regarding stuttering getting better only when the condition gets better. I have seen many client's stuttering get better when their condition doesn't. This may be due to increased awareness and monitoring. It may also be due to the work of their conversational partners. Nonetheless, your statement may be correct in many cases, but certainly not all. I hesitated to make these comments to you because I do not want to discourage you in any way.
