Laura, I am not sure that I really understand the question, but I think you are asking me if the PWS did not stutter, would the other disorders still be present? If this is not what you are asking, let me know. In my mind, stuttering does not cause the other disorders that you mentioned, so if stuttering did not exist, the other conditions would still likely be present. In the case of some other issues, related to fear, anxiety, and some other emotional issues, they may fade as stuttering is limited or controlled. This most likely will take time and therefore, many clinicians try to minimize the effects of the emotional issues as stuttering is controlled. I hope that I answered your question. Happy ISAD!
