This is how I got started writing books. Mary Wallace, co-author of Fun with Fluency, and I were presenting three papers at the Arizona state meeting and we were approached by Imaginart to put our work and experience with the young child into a therapy book. We were quite surprized at first as we had never even considered writing a book before. It was a great experience but it was alot of work. The second book, yet to be titled, was even more work. THere is so much editing and rewriting, editing and rewriting. It is important to have a supportive and patient editor! But it was so worth it. So many people have shared with us over the years how much the book has helped with their therapies. I say go write! It is a great feeling when you are finished.
