I thoroughly enjoyed reading this article. I found myself agreeing with the fact that many people are so desperate for a cure to stuttering that they will try anything. I am in Mrs. Kuster's graduate seminar class covering the topic of stuttering and we discussed some of the "cures" that are out there today on the internet. In general people want to see quick results, but, don't want to have to do much for them. Stuttering is not something to be taken lightly, but, it should not take over a person's life. The author chose an excellent Lincoln to use, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." It's so true. We all have difficulties facing us in life, it is how we handle them that makes the difference.
