Many thanks for your gracious comments, Lynne. Yes, we do still have a lomg way to go in gaining knowledge of the nature and treatment of stuttering, but when you compare the information and therapy that we have today with what we had in, say, 1945 (when I became actively involved in stuttering therapy), you realize how much better the situation is today.
