Dr. Williams - While reading your article, I found myself nodding in agreement to just about every sentence you wrote. I found it especially true that many people are in for a "quick fix" for stuttering and many don't realize what a process stuttering therapy can be. I very much respect the honesty in your writing; it is much harder to give someone the truth than it is to give them an easy way out. Have you found that people are looking more for the easier way or the more truthful (and more difficult) way when it comes to stuttering therapy? Thank you so much for submitting this wonderful and informational article! Malorie P.S. I am actually also a student of Mrs. Kuster and am her graduate assistant. I am typing up your journal that you sent to her! It is simply amazing to see the journey you took over the course of a few years. What made you want to share your personal thoughts with everyone? Thanks again :)
