I found this article to be very informative and; therefore, gave me as a future clinician a better understanding of treatment tactics. I was just wondering if there is any specific treatment that you would recommend to be more helpful with adults than children and vice versa? Also if a client is discouraged about the treatment process because they have been unsuccessful so far, how does a clinician keep their hopes up and decides what type of strategy to use when working with the client? .. Lastly, how would one counsel a patient who believes that they are the cause of their fluency disorder? Thank you for the article, it is very beneficial.
